Ok, so people
either ask me where "Jweather" came from, or they assume my
name is "Jeff Weather" and that's who they write their
checks out to. Well, back when I used to work a "regular
job" before I started this company, it was when companies
would typically create your email address with the first
letter of your first name and the first seven letters of
your last name. So since my full name is Jeff Weatherford,
my email alias was automatically created as "JWEATHER."
As far as the
".com" in the company name, that was just because I figured
if I wanted the website and company to be easy to remember,
then I might as well always call it the same thing. So just
like you have probably heard of "Hotels.com" right? Well,
that's their company's name, just like ours is
"Jweather.com." Plus, "computer services" is what we do, so
naturally "Jweather.com Computer Services" as a company name
just made sense.
Nothing
fancy, that's just the story of how the company name came to
be. :-)
